Omaha Equestrian Foundation Invites Military Members, Veterans and First Responders to the Burlington Capital International Omaha

Omaha, NE (February 6, 2019) – Omaha Equestrian Foundation is pleased to invite any and all active and retired military members, veterans, and first responders and their families to the Burlington Capital International Omaha on Friday, April 5th for the InIt2WinIt Speed Jumping Final and “Salute to Military Members, Veterans and First Responders.” The “Salute” will feature the music of Jimmy Weber, Guitars4Vets, tribute to a “Gold Star Family,” and the Omaha Mounted Patrol.   


The competition begins at 7:30pm and features the best horse and rider teams in the Midwest. Visitors will enjoy the excitement as horses and rider fly over large jumps as quick as possible to compete for the $100,000 prize. Military members, veterans, first responders and their families can attend free of charge by obtaining a voucher for a ticket. Experience the free “Horse Discovery Zone” complete with hands-on exhibits and a variety of horses in the Gallery of Breeds.  The shopping village will have numerous vendors selling anything from horse products to jewelry to art. Before the Final, visitors can grab dinner in the “Tailgate Lounge” that overlooks the warm-up arena.  
The Omaha Equestrian Foundation, a certified 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit foundation, has been committed to building a world-class equestrian experience, through the International Omaha, a nationally sanctioned equestrian show jumping and dressage experience now going into its eight year. The successful growth of this event helped secure the bid to host the highly acclaimed 2017 FEI World Cup™ Finals which brought athletes and fans from across the world to Omaha.
