The Omaha Equestrian Foundation (OEF) announces the dates for the 2019 International Omaha and the 2018-2019 Init2Winit Speed Jumping Series. Following a successful 2018 edition that saw exciting competition and world class educational opportunities, the 2019 International Omaha will once again be the place to be April 4-7, 2019 at the CHI Health Center Omaha (formerly known as the CenturyLink Center Omaha). The four-day event will once again feature the International Omaha Grand Prix, the Init2Winit Speed Jumping Series Final, the Dressage Team Challenge along with a variety of open and junior/amateur jumping classes plus a master-class clinic with a world-renowned clinician.
The Omaha Equestrian Foundation is also excited to bring back the popular “Init2Winit Speed Jumping Series.” The OEF’s InIt2WinIt Speed Jumping Series is a series of 1.40-meter speed jumping events sanctioned by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and is designed to give riders from the Midwest more opportunities to compete at a higher level while staying in the region. The series’ first year proved to be a successful one as a fantastic group of riders and horses competed in front of a packed house at the $100,000 Final at the 2018 International Omaha after a series of qualifiers in four Midwestern cities.
The second annual series will culminate in the $100,000 Championship at 1.45 meters held during the International Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, April 4-7, 2019 after qualifying events at the Great Southwest Fall Classic, September 29 in Katy, Texas, the American Royal, October 12 in Kansas City, Missouri, the Queenie Productions Winter Festival VI, November 10 in St. Louis, Missouri, and the National Western Stock Show January 18, 2019 in Denver, Colorado.
The International Omaha also features a free family friendly Horse Discovery Zone for guests and over 3,200 school children are welcomed during their free field trips. Vendors delight shoppers in the Boutique Shopping Village, and a Tailgate Lounge adjoins the warm-up arena with lively bands providing after-performance entertainment. The CHI Health Center houses all activity, including stabling and performance arena, shopping under one roof. Ticketing information including hospitality and VIP packages will be available shortly. Sponsorships are available, please contact Mike West at email@example.com to learn more about how to get your business involved in the largest equestrian event in the Midwest.
The OEF, a certified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation, has been committed to building a world-class equestrian experience in Omaha over the past several years. It created and developed The International Omaha, an internationally sanctioned equestrian show jumping and dressage experience now going into its seventh year. The successful growth of that event helped secure the OEF's bid to host the 2017 FEI World Cup™ Finals.
